Responsibilities
- Write Python code under provided standards to share information through APIs, and/or to extract data from different sources (text files, APIs, SQL Server Database, etc.).
- Work in an organized team-oriented environment with shared responsibilities under agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and domain experts, to discover, build, and iterate on products and tools to empower our users.
- Ensure our software systems’ scalability, security, and performance in a cloud-based user-focused environment.
- Provide thorough documentation and conduct software tests for the implemented components
- Actively participate in prototyping and deployment activities
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development with Python, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
- Requires API/integration and database access experience, Django, SQL Server, Postgres
- Strong Database skills required (MySQL, RDS, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.)
- Good understanding of computer science fundamentals, clean code, programming principles, and design patterns
- Good understanding of the SDLC processes and tools (e g code reviews, distributed version control, testing)
- Good English communication skills (Bl+ overall language level)
- English is required, as you will work directly with US-based clients.
- Ability to learn new frameworks quickly and drive innovative solutions
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experiencia con herramientas de prueba unitaria, integración continua y GIT
Nice to Have
- React experience is highly valued.
- Experience with AWS and/or Kubernetes is nice to have, but not required
